A Heaven to Gain

And It's a Real Planet, Too!

“After this I looked, and, behold, a door was opened in heaven: and the first voice which I heard was as it were of a trumpet talking with me; which said, Come up hither, and I will show thee things which must be hereafter. And immediately I was in the spirit: and, behold, a throne was set in heaven, and one sat on the throne.”  (Revelation 4:1-2)

Heaven.  Jesus referred to it over seventy times in the Bible.  Almost all of the world’s false religions and make-believe disciplines refer to it, also.  However, almost all of them differ on what it is and what it is like.  I don’t bother to listen to any of their ungodly guesswork. 

The Bible is man’s final authority and it very clearly teaches what Heaven is.  Heaven is the Capital of the Universe.  It is from here that God providentially governs creation. 

The Bible teaches that in order for the Almighty to walk the area of Heaven, He must walk in a “circuit” or a circle. (Job 22:14)  Obviously, Heaven must be spherical for Him to do so.  The Bible also teaches that Heaven revolves in a “circuit” or an orbit in space as all other planets do! (Psalm 19:6) 

The Apostle Paul revealed, by the Holy Spirit, that the Planet Earth is an exact replica of the “Planet” Heaven. (Romans 1:20)  Of course, Adam allowed a curse to come into the Earth that is not on the Planet Heaven. (Genesis 3:17-19)  That curse will be purged from the Earth soon after Jesus returns.  At that time, Planet Earth will be as “sin-free” as Planet Heaven is now. (Revelation 21:1-5)  One other thing I should mention is that the Planet Heaven is located directly north of the Planet Earth. (Psalm 75:6,7; Isaiah 14:13,14) 

If Jesus is your Lord, Savior and Deliverer, you have much to look forward to in Heaven.  There will be friends and family there who also accepted Christ’s sacrifice at Calvary.  You’ll live in that home you’ve always desired and experience wonderful things that Earth could not give to you. (Matthew 6:18-20; John 14:2)  Never again will you suffer sickness, lack, fear, accident, rejection, loneliness or even death, yours or anyone else’s. (Revelation 21:4,5)  Just think of Planet Heaven as a perfected Planet Earth and there you have it!

Oh, yes, there is one other thing I should mention in this minuscule study on Planet Heaven.  There is a place somewhere in Heaven where you can actually go to see directly into the bowels of Hell.  That’s right, a place where Hell can be viewed while you’re in Heaven.  I don’t claim to understand how this is possible.  I only know that one day while I was studying I discovered it. (Isaiah 64:22-24)  No doubt, this is to serve as an eternal reminder of what Jesus suffered in our place, keeping us from such eternal horror! (Romans 6:23)  

One thing I know for sure.  No one ever got into Heaven for being good.  You get to Heaven by accepting Jesus Christ as your personal Savior.  I also know that no one ever went to Hell for being bad.  You go there for rejecting Jesus as your personal Savior.  God never sent one human being to Hell.  He never will.  People send themselves to Hell by rejecting His means of escape. 

Have you not yet told Jesus, “You’re my choice”?  You can do it right now, wherever you are, while reading this Gospel message.  Just simply say, “Jesus, You’re my choice” and you’ll be spared the penalty of Hell.  You’ll gain the rewards of Heaven, too. (Romans 10:31) 

After all, there is a Hell to shun and a Heaven to gain!
