All Is Forgiven

Really, It Is!

by Pastor John Hamel

“… and Jesus said, There was a certain creditor which had two debtors: the one owed five hundred pence, and the other fifty. And when they had nothing to pay, he frankly forgave them both. Tell me therefore, which of them will love him most? Simon answered and said, I suppose that he, to whom he forgave most. And Jesus said unto him, Thou hast rightly judged.” (Luke 7:40-43)

No matter how badly you feel you have messed up in life, Jesus will freely forgive you.  He wants you to know that not only are you forgiven for your mistakes, but you can also have a clear conscience. (Hebrews 9:14)

You might say, “Not me, Pastor.  You have no idea how badly I messed up.  I’m so bad, even God wants nothing to do with me.”

Well, according to what Jesus told Simon in the above verses, it’s not possible for anyone to come up with something that God will not forgive.  Jesus realizes that the more you need to be forgiven, the more you will love Him for it!

Jesus knows that the degree to which you have sinned is parallel to the degree to which you will love Him when He forgives you.

Some of the greatest men and women in the Bible started out as some of the greatest sinners.

Rahab was a hooker. (Joshua 2:1)

Moses killed a man. (Exodus 2:11,12)

King David had a man murdered so he could marry his wife. (2Samuel 10:15-17)

Matthew was a rip off tax collector. (Matthew 9:9)

Peter liked to box and throw rocks. (John 18:10,11)

Mary Magdalene was possessed of seven demon spirits. (Mark 16:9)

The Apostle Paul conspired to murder Christians and even admitted to being “Chief” among sinners! (1Timothy 1:15

I myself was a former drug addict.

I thought God was mad at me, too, because I had ruined my life with drugs and alcohol.

Then one day I put the television on and found one of those “televangelists” that everyone, including me, liked to mock.  I was astonished as I heard him say, “If you’re a drug addict and you think God is mad at you, YOU ARE WRONG!  God loves you and will set you free if you’ll give your life to Jesus.”

I said, “Jesus, if that’s true and you’ll set me free, I’ll give You the rest of my life.”

There, ALONE IN MY LIVING ROOM, a large hand was placed on my head three times.  On the third time I felt God’s love go right down to the tips of my cold, cold toes.  I went unconscious.

For NEARLY THREE FULL DAYS I did not dream, change positions, eat or drink.  All bodily functions ceased, SUPERNATURALLY.

When I came to I discovered that drugs and alcohol no longer bound me.

God had done what I asked and now I am doing what I promised, telling everyone, everywhere, ever since.  For over 30 years I have preached the Gospel of Jesus Christ to individuals and to the masses!

No matter who you are, where you’ve been or what you may have done, Jesus is reaching out to you with His forgiveness today.

That’s why this Gospel message has come into your hands.  It’s no accident.

Jesus said, “No man can come to Me unless the Father Who’s in Me draws him.” (John 6:44)

This includes women, too.  If you’re a woman, you’re a man with a womb and therefore, a “womb-man.”

Some false religions exclude women.  Not Jesus.  His love and forgiveness know no boundaries

So why don’t you just say, “Jesus, You’re my choice.  Forgive me.  Show me why I’m here and I’ll follow You.  Satan, back away from me in Jesus’ Name.” (Romans 10:13)

God will hear you and will respond if you’ll expect Him to do so.

That’s what life is all about – EXPECTING miracles!

You can do this.  Really, you can.
