Demon Powers
Are They Calling Your Bluff?

“…they brought unto him
[Jesus] many that were possessed with devils: and he cast out the spirits
with his word, and healed all that were sick.” (Matthew 8:16)
Here’s a fact that
surprises many Believers today. Jesus actually spent
one-quarter of His Ministry time on Earth casting unclean spirits out of
human beings. Unclean spirits are demons.
Some find it hard to believe that those very same demons that Jesus cast
out of people, the very same ones, are still in the Earth today, harassing
and destroying people, generation after generation.
They will remain
in the Earth until after the coming 1000-year Millennial Reign of Christ.
At that time, they will be cast into “The Lake of Fire” with Satan, the Beast,
all other fallen angels and rebellious
humans, for Eternity. (Revelation 20:1-15)
Until that time,
however, they are here and must be held in check by Christ’s
followers. If we are not controlling them, they are
controlling us.
Sadly, I once sat in a
Church service and heard with my own ears an extremely popular, world-renowned
Evangelist proclaim, “There are no demons in America.
They are all in third world nations."
I
must acknowledge here that I was absolutely stunned
to hear this.
Because this once great man of
God was deceived in this way, he simply did not bother
to resist Satan and demons from himself or his family as the Bible commands.
His son became
involved with homosexuality and ultimately died
at a young age of complications due to alcoholism.
His precious co-Evangelist wife
herself died a horrible premature death after having preached the Gospel of Divine Healing for decades.
His
daughter was overtaken by severe immorality, adultery, lesbianism and lying spirits. (Romans 1:28;
1Kings 22:22)
The
world-renowned Evangelist's Ministry ceased to impact the world as it once
did. For all the marvelous miracles that did occur under this man's
Ministry, at the end of his life he destroyed his Gospel legacy by publicly
lying about miracles that did not occur as well as his crusade crowd sizes.
He himself had been overtaken by lying spirits.
Sadly,
all of these curses of the law overtook him and his family because he
wrongly believed, "There are no
demon spirits in America.
They're all in third world nations." This left him and his family
wide open to Satan's attacks through a complete lack of resistance.
There is absolutely no
Scripture to support such foolish, human reasoning. Satan called the bluff of this dear
man's entire family!
Noted
Bible author, C.S. Lewis, got it right when he said the following. "There
are two equal and opposite errors into which our race can fall about the
demons. One is to disbelieve in their existence. The other is to believe and
to feel an unhealthy interest in them. They themselves are equally pleased
by both errors and they hail a materialist or a magician with the same
delight."
Corrie
ten Boom, a Dutch survivor of Hitler's worst concentration camps and one of
the most remarkable Evangelists of all time, says, "We stand in the
power of the Name of Jesus, by the blood of the Lamb and the word of our
testimony. Jesus came to destroy the works of the devil. Satan is a defeated
enemy. It is necessary that we obey the Word of God and cast out demons in
His Name."
America
has no intrinsic immunity to demon spirits because of her technological
advancements. There are no "Demon Barriers" set up around America.
Demons do not relegate themselves to third world countries and neither does
God.
Not only
are demons in America,
they’re in the traditional Church in America
and rapidly making advances into the Pentecostal Church.
We see this in the popular acceptance of homosexual Pastors, Bishops and Priests,
male and female. We see it in pedophile “Ministers.” We see it
in the denial of God’s very Word, the virgin birth and the cleansing Blood in these same Churches.
William
Booth, the founder of the Salvation Army, declared, "The chief danger
that confronts the coming century will be religion without the Holy Ghost,
Christianity without Christ, forgiveness without repentance, salvation
without regeneration, politics without God and Heaven without Hell."
America
is actually witnessing the birth of the
Apostate
Church
through which the Anti-Christ will rule.
True Believers in Jesus
resist these demonic manifestations and fight back using their God-given
authority.
“And these signs shall
follow them that believe; In My N ame shall they cast out demons …”
(Mark 16:17)
“Behold, I give unto you
power to tread on serpents and scorpions [symbolic
of Satan and demons], and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing
shall by any means hurt you.” (Luke 10:19)
Don’t be a part of the
21st Century Church that has a form of godliness but denies its
power. (2 Timothy 3:5)
Withstand these evil
spirits who try to call your bluff. The Bible promises
they will obey. (Matthew 18:19)
Say, “Jesus, I choose You as my Lord, Savior and Deliverer. I
renounce all evil entities and withstand their influence now. Satan
and every adversary, loose me and my family now in Jesus’ Strong Name.”
“Submit yourselves
therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.”
(James 4:7)
Continue to openly and
verbally resist and
withstand them.
Get under a Pastor who understands the Believer's authority and who knows what it
means to fight
"the good fight of Faith." (1 Timothy 6:12)
It's a good fight because it's a fixed fight.
You
are guaranteed to
win! (Isaiah 54:17)
