Jesus Walks In When Everyone Else
Walks Out

“But their scribes and Pharisees murmured against his
disciples, saying, Why do ye eat and drink with publicans and
sinners? And Jesus answering said unto them, They that are whole need
not a physician; but they that are sick. I came not to call the
righteous, but sinners to repentance.” (Luke 5:30-32)
Jesus has many
outstanding qualities that often surprise religiously brainwashed
people. One of them is His uncanny ability to befriend the so-called
“dregs” of society.
Jesus and His true disciples are drawn to
society’s “outcasts” like moths to a flame.
Even as you just read,
Jesus said that the “whole” or the “normal” don’t need doctoring.
It’s the sick or the bound and tormented who need the Great Physician’s
care.
He’s referring to drug addicts, pedophiles, hookers, drunkards,
homosexuals, lesbians, pornography addicts, adulterers and all other
societal “rejects.”
Jesus did not come
for the “righteous,” referring to the “self-righteous.” The
self-righteous are self-deceived and see no need for “redemption.”
Jesus came for those who aren’t “players.”
Jesus came for those who
know they’ve trashed their lives with sin and want
to look it squarely in the eye and change it.
People like me - a
former drug addict, drinker and overall abusive individual turned Minister
of the Gospel.
I told Jesus over
30 years ago, “If You’ll set me
free, I’ll give You my life.”
To make a long
story short, He did and I am!
The power of God came upon me that day
and I fell unconscious for NEARLY THREE FULL DAYS
right there in my living room. I did not dream, change positions, eat
or drink. All bodily functions ceased, SUPERNATURALLY. When I
came to I was God’s “free man.” (1Corinthians 7:22)
I have been telling
everybody, everywhere, ever since about JESUS, FRIEND OF ALL SOCIAL
OUTCASTS!
He took me from sinister and hostile and transformed me
into a Minister of the Gospel!
Jesus befriended anyone, including tax collectors who were some of the
most despised and hated individuals of His day. (Luke 5:27-32;
19:1-10) They continually ripped people off, overcharging them and
stuffing their own deep pockets. Whenever they were willing to make
the necessary changes, Jesus welcomed them into the flock.
Jesus befriended Mary Magdalene. The Bible says she
was possessed of seven demon spirits by the time He caught up with her.
(Mark 16:9,10) Tradition says she was a prostitute. Although
the Bible doesn’t say that, you can be sure of this. Anyone possessed
of seven evil spirits is living one funky mess and needs supernatural
help. Jesus delivered her and recruited her, no questions asked.
How about the
lepers He was always assisting? (Luke 17:11-14) Leprosy was the
“aids” of Jesus’ day.
Someone once gave an acronym for AIDS as
Automatic Irreversible Death Sentence.
Not so! Jesus heals all diseases. He made
you. He can fix you. Just repent! (1Peter 2:24)
Let’s not forget
about fighting, cussing, fish-stinking Peter. (Luke 5:7-11)
Uneducated and at the bottom of everyone’s social ladder, he became one of
the world’s greatest Ministers, Bible Teachers and New Testament authors!
How about
you?
Has everyone walked out of your life because you’ve made such a
stinking mess of it?
Well, guess Who just walked into your
life?
JESUS, FRIEND OF ALL SOCIAL OUTCASTS.
Simply say, “Jesus, You’re my choice.” (Romans 10:13)
He’ll turn your
“mess” into a “mess-age,” just like He did with me!
I went from
sinister and hostile to a Minister of the Gospel. You can, too.
You can’t possibly come up with something this Miracle Worker can’t handle!
