God Alone Is to Be
Worshipped

“But as he which hath called you is
holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation;
Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy.” (1 Peter
1:15-16).”
Holiness. All
the false religions and counterfeit disciplines
of the world have been founded out of a desire for Holiness.
In the
New Testament the actual word for “Holy” means, “to be blameless and set
apart”.
All of man’s attempts to set himself
apart and to be blameless before God are futile. Man’s attempt to
make himself Holy without God’s help is like trying to clean a fish before
you catch it.
There's only one way to become Holy and obtain right standing with God. We'll talk about that in
this study.
One false religion
teaches that you can become Holy by bathing regularly in a certain “Holy”
river in a certain country. This same religion teaches that a Brahma
bull is Holy and that by worshipping it and abstaining from eating its
flesh, you can be Holy.
In the same nation where this is practiced,
dead bodies, humans who starved to death, lie on the same streets where the
Brahma bulls run free! Holy cow? Not according to the
Bible! The God of the Bible made those Brahma bulls to keep those
people alive. (1Timothy 4:4)
Bulls are to be eaten. Creator God
alone is to be worshipped. (John 4:24)
Another world
religion, practiced right here in America teaches that one
can become Holy by visiting certain sites where spiritual apparitions
supposedly occurred.
The same religion teaches that worshipping
certain relics and dead people can result in Holiness. It also
teaches that its leaders are Holier than its followers.
No one is holy unless they’re Born
Again.
The New Testament
clearly teaches that there are no more Holy places, Holy animals, Holy
relics or artifacts on the Earth. Those things have passed away to
make room for a New and Better Covenant. (Hebrews 8:6,7)
However, the
New Testament does teach the Bible is Holy because of the Revelation of God
contained therein. (1Timothy 3:15)
God is
Holy. (Psalm 99:9)
Jesus is Holy. (Acts 4:27,30)
The
“Holy” Spirit is Holy. (Luke 1:15)
Finally, any man or woman who is
“in Christ” is also Holy.
“Therefore if any
man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.”
(2Corinthians 5:17)
“…for the temple of God is holy, which
temple ye are.” (1Corinthians 3:17b)
“… the elect of God, holy and beloved…” (Colossians 3:12)
“I charge you by
the Lord that this epistle be read unto all the
holy brethren.” (1Thessalonians 5:27)
Don’t be deceived
by any of the world’s false holy men, prophets, gurus, his “Holiness” Dalai
Lama, or any other individual who rejects Jesus’ Blood as a covering for their own
lack of Holiness. (1John 2:2)
Jesus said, “I
am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by
me.” (John 14:6) He’s not a liar or a
lunatic. All false “holy men” are one or both.
Only
The Most High God can impart Holiness to a human being as a gift. (Romans
5:17) He has chosen to do this through Jesus, not a polluted river, a
bull, ancient relics, a dead man’s bones or burning incense to spirits in the Himalayan Mountains of Nepal and Tibet.
If those false holy
men are so powerful, why don’t they stay in their own oppressed Eastern
nations and help raise the standard of living there?
Why do they
always target wealthy Western nations where the big money is?
The
answer should be obvious. They’re really not
concerned with “bettering” anybody but “me.”
Almost all of the
world's false religions say, "Jesus was a good man. He was a
good Prophet. He was a good Teacher. But He is NOT the Son of
God. He is NOT the only way to God."
When I confront them, I tell them, "You're saying that good men, good
Prophets and good Teachers can lie and still be good. You say Jesus
is a liar when He said, 'No man comes to the Father without going through Me.' Then you
turn around and call Him 'good.' Do you not realize that you're
calling a liar 'good'? It seems to me that it's time for you to
re-examine what your false religion has taught you."
Without fail, they
always respond, "You know, I never saw it that way. You're
right. It's time for me to re-think this matter."
And I
always say, "You're right. It's time for you to re-think this
matter."
When you are ready,
simply say, “Jesus, You’re my choice” and you will
supernaturally enter into God’s Holy Kingdom, as God’s newborn, righteous Holy child. (John 1:20; Romans 10:13)
