You & Wants to Set You Free

God gave them over …to vile affections and degrading passions. For their
women exchanged their natural function for an unnatural and abnormal
one... The men also turned from natural relations with women and were
set ablaze …with lust for one another – men committing shameful acts with
men and suffering in their own bodies and personalities the inevitable
consequences and penalty of their wrongdoing …” (Romans 1:26,27 Amplified
Bible)
I once turned on a
“Christian” TV program to hear a teenage “Bible Study Leader” say, “The
Bible says absolutely nothing about homosexuality or lesbianism. It’s
a matter of choice. God leaves it up to us.” Apparently she
wasn’t referring to the Bible God wrote. The One you just read above.
Another time, I
heard Phil Donahue, the TV Talk Show host, gleefully exclaim, “The word
‘homosexual’ isn’t even in the Bible.” I thought, “You’re right Phil,
it isn’t. But the subject is.” The words “homicide” and “Capital
Punishment” aren’t in the Bible either, but the subjects are. The
Bible says if you commit one, you’ll experience the other. (1Timothy 1:9;
1Peter 4:15; Revelation 21:8; 22:15)
The teen Bible
study leader and the ignorant talk show host would be well served by
reading the following Bible verses. If you’re as confused as they
are, you would be, too. (Genesis 8:21; 19:1-11; Leviticus 20:13;
Deuteronomy 23:17; 1Kings 14:24; 15:12; 22:46; 2Kings 23:7; Joel 3:3;
1Corinthians 6:9,10; Ephesians 5:3,4; 2Timothy 3:1-3, 13; 2Peter 2:7-22;
Jude 1:7-19)
The Bible that God
wrote is exceptionally clear. “Thou shalt
not be with mankind as with womankind: It is an abomination.”
(Leviticus 18:22) God actually considers homosexuality and lesbianism
to be as abominable as bestiality. It carries the same death penalty.
(Leviticus 18:23)
The Curse of Death
is not only upon individuals who accept homosexuality and lesbianism as
“normal.” It’s also upon all Nations who do so. (Leviticus 18:25;
Proverbs 16:25; Ezekiel 18:20; Romans 6:23) God knows the generation
that accepts it as normal will be “The Terminal Generation” of the
world!
When all the men go
off with the men and all the women with the women, there’ll be no more
conception. That’s the end of human creation. Wouldn’t Satan
just love that? He hates God and nothing pleases him more than the
destruction of God’s precious human creation.
Did you ever stop
to realize that if the Animal Kingdom practiced this abomination there’d be
no more “makin’ bacon” or eggs? If the Plant Kingdom did so, there’d be
no more fruits and vegetables. Why is it that the lowest forms of
creation seem to have more sense than a segment of the highest form of
creation? Satan has blinded their eyes and they love the darkness more
than the light. (John 3:19)
Everyone who
qualifies for genuine Minority Status should be outraged by his or her
culture being equated with immorality. Homosexuals and lesbians are
not Minorities, they are sinners who must be forgiven and saved by Jesus’
Blood.
Ethnic groups are
born that way and can’t change what they are. (Jeremiah 13:23)
Homosexuals can and do change all the time. I’ve never known a former
Black, White or Hispanic but I know former homosexuals and lesbians.
Homosexuals and
lesbians can remember the very person or situation that introduced them to
their sin. Don’t allow liberal politicians and ignorant religious
leaders to convince you the Bible is wrong. God calls them, “Dumb,
greedy dogs.” (Isaiah 56:10,11)
Some insist, “God
made me this way. I’m a man in a woman’s body,” etc. That ridiculous
argument won’t hold up on the unbeliever’s Judgment Day,
anymore than it will on the Believer’s Judgment Day.
You didn’t get past Heaven’s “Quality Control” during a sloppy work
shift. Nobody let you get shipped out in the wrong body because they
wanted to go home early.
God put you in the
right body. Ask Him to forgive you for blaming Him for the
wrong decisions you've made. He didn’t make you that
way. You can remember the very individual who introduced that sin into your life. So snap out of it. Tell Satan that he’s not oppressing you with immorality and
unnatural lust any longer.
Say, “Jesus, I choose You. Deliver me from this sin. I’m
miserable each time I commit it. I have no joy. I want a real
family.” He will do exactly as you ask. He loves you deeply
and He wants to set you free. (John 3:16;
Romans 10:13)
Keep in mind, there
really is a Hell to shun and a Heaven to gain.
