Persist. Expect. Be Healed.
That’s What We Did!

“And he came down with them, and stood in the plain, and the
company of his disciples, and a great multitude of people out of all Judaea
and Jerusalem, and from the sea coast of Tyre and
Sidon, which came to hear him, and to be healed of their diseases; And they
that were vexed with unclean spirits: and they were healed. And the
whole multitude sought to touch him: for there went virtue out of him, and
healed them all.” (Luke 6:17-19)
Jesus still heals
the physically sick today. That will never change. (Hebrews
13:8) Some religious people do not believe this because they are
ignorant of what the Bible says.
When I say
“ignorant” I do not mean “stupid.” I simply mean they “lack
knowledge” of God’s Word. Acquiring knowledge in the area where one
is ignorant can easily cure ignorance. People who are ignorant of
God’s will to heal today simply need to go to the Bible and read all of
God’s promises to heal His beloved.
The Bible says, “God
is Love…” (1John 4:8) Simply
put, Love would never want anyone to remain sick for any reason,
ever. This is why God does not want you to
be sick, ever! You can reach out and literally tap into Jesus’ healing power just like the
people in the Bible did. You, too, can receive miracle healing.
My wife once had an
internal problem that caused her great pain at certain times in her
life. Many times I would awake in the night and put my hand on her,
praying for her to be healed. Month after month after month I would
frequently wake up and do this. I knew from the Bible it wasn’t God’s
will for her to be ill. I wasn’t
going to let the devil talk us out of it. Though it seemed senseless
at times, I persisted.
One night as I laid
my hand upon her once again, there was a literal explosion as the power of
God shot out of my hand like rifle fire. At that same instant my hand
and arm were forcefully propelled back and away from her body. I was
acquainted with God’s power flowing out of my hands into the sick, but
never like this. There was a literal explosion as I finally connected
with God’s power through the power of persistence!
God’s power in the
natural world is called “electricity.” God’s power in the spirit
realm is called the “anointing.” (Isaiah 10:27; Acts 10:38) Having
finally connected with the “anointing” I heard myself saying to my wife,
Barbara, “Watch what happens in the next two to three days.” Lo and
behold, a couple of days later, she showed me a large tumor with hundreds
of tentacles attached all around it. It had been dislodged by the
explosive anointing and literally fell right out of her body. The painful
problem she had experienced for so long was finally over! She had
been set free by the anointing of God in
manifestation.
You, too, can be
healed of any sickness, any disease, any
dysfunction at all. It all starts by saying, “Jesus, I choose You as
my Savior.” (Romans 10:13)
The “lesser”
miracle of healing is contained in the “greater” miracle of
salvation. If you prayed the above prayer, you can now pray, “Father,
I receive Your healing anointing, in Jesus’
Name.” (John 16:23)
Persist and expect
to receive supernatural results just like we did. That’s the secret
to life – expecting miracles!
