Doesn't Come from God
Then, Where Does it Come from?

“How God anointed and consecrated
Jesus of Nazareth with the [Holy] Spirit and with STRENGTH and
ABILITY and POWER; how He went about doing good and, in particular,
curing all who were harassed and oppressed by [the power of] the
devil, for God was with Him.” (Acts 10:38 Amplified Bible)
The Bible says that Jesus Christ went about
doing good and curing all who were harassed and
oppressed by the power of the devil.
This can only mean one
thing.
This can only mean that all harassment and all oppression come
from the devil and never from God. If harassment and oppression came
from God, then Jesus was going against the will of God whenever He
delivered someone from it.
Jesus never went against His Father’s
will.
The Ministry of Jesus was devoted to healing oppression because
God is devoted to healing oppression.
Religious tradition teaches that sickness, disease, harassment and
oppression come from God, but that’s not what the Bible
teaches.
“Every good gift and every perfect gift is
from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.”
(James 1:17)
James, the very brother of Jesus, wrote by
inspiration of the Holy Spirit when he said that only good and perfect
gifts come from the God Who never changes.
(Malachi 3:6; Hebrews 13:8)
How is it possible for a good God to send
sickness into the Earth from Heaven when
there isn’t any sickness up there to begin with?
It’s not only
foolish but it’s unscriptural to believe that sickness, disease, harassment
and oppression come from the God of Love.
No doubt everybody reading this article is
acquainted with one of history’s most famous couples whom the Bible refers
to as Adam and Eve.
Adam
& Eve Opened the Door to Sickness
Everybody knows about Adam and Eve. How
could we ever forget them? People who don’t have a proper Bible education
don’t understand that it was Adam and Eve who allowed Satan to bring
sickness and tragedy into the Earth. It was not the God of Love.
Adam and Eve rebelled against God’s authority and the whole of the Earth,
which God had given to them, came under a curse of sickness, poverty and
separation from the God Who loves His creation.
“And the Lord God said unto the serpent, Because
thou hast done this, thou art cursed above all cattle, and above every
beast of the field; upon thy belly shalt thou go,
and dust shalt thou eat all the days of thy
life:” (Genesis 3:14)
Most people don’t
understand that God gave Adam and Eve authority over the Earth. Adam
and Eve turned around and gave it to the devil when they bowed their knee
to his counsel.
As a result, we now live in a world where Satan
dominates. Actually, the Bible calls Satan “the god of this world.”
(2Corinthians 4:4) The Bible also calls Satan “the prince of this
world.” (John 12:31; 14:30; 16:11)
Until Jesus comes to take control
of this Earth back from Satan, he’s calling most of the shots down here,
particularly in the lives of those who don’t understand that Believers in
Christ have complete authority over him.
Uneducated
Believers and non-Believers alike falsely accuse the God of
Love of causing all the sickness, accidents and tragedies that
occur in this Earth when the Bible says He does no such thing.
God gets a bad rap every day for the things Satan is doing in this
Earth.
“The thief cometh not, but for to steal,
and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that
they might have it more abundantly.” (John 10:10)
This is a revelation that the people in the
Old Testament didn’t have, but we do. We are responsible for it, too.
Jesus said, “Anything that kills, steals or destroys in the Earth comes directly
from Satan and never from God.”
Do you believe the words of
Jesus? He’s the One that said, “Sickness, disease, catastrophe and
torment all have their roots and origin in Satan.”
This becomes even
clearer as we look at the Ministry of Jesus.
Follow
Jesus' Ministry to See the Will of God
If we want to see what God is like, we have
to look at Jesus. If we want to hear what God sounds like, we have to
listen to Jesus.
“For I came down from heaven, not to do
mine own will, but the will of him that sent me.” (John 6:38)
Jesus said He never did anything based upon
His own will or purpose. Everything He did was His Father’s will and
not His own. He even went so far as to say that every miracle He
performed was actually God performing the miracle through Him.
“… the words that I speak unto you I speak
not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in
me, he doeth the works.” (John 14:10)
When Jesus said, "...he doeth the
works" He actually said, "He performs the mighty outbursts of
miraculous power through Me."
It was God Who was doing all those miracles
and deeds of power through Jesus.
Therefore, it’s quite obvious that
we can look at the Ministry of Jesus and find out exactly how God feels
about sickness, torment, demonic harassment and every other kind of human
tragedy.
Let's look closer at Jesus' Ministry.
“When he was come down from the mountain,
great multitudes followed him. And, behold, there came a leper and
worshipped him, saying, Lord, if thou wilt, thou canst make me clean.
And Jesus put forth his hand, and touched him, saying, I will; be thou
clean. And immediately his leprosy was cleansed.” (Matthew 8:1-3)
Jesus said, “I will” to the man who
requested healing. "I will" means, “It is
My will.”
Remember now, Jesus said, “I came not to do Mine own
will but to do My Father’s will.” So obviously it was God’s will for
the leper to be healed, because God healed the leper through Jesus.
If it was God’s will to heal the leper, it is God’s will to heal
you.
How can I say that? Because the Bible says that God
does not respect one person more than He respects another. (Acts 10:34;
Romans 2:11)
Jesus didn’t tell the leper, “Well now,
Son, God moves in mysterious ways His wonders to behold. His ways are
past finding out and He may have put that leprosy on you to teach you
something, so be patient. Learn your lessons well and maybe, just maybe, someday God will heal you, if it be
His holy will.”
Jesus never, ever talked like that.
That’s how religious human beings talk who don’t know anything about the
Bible, but they want to sound like they know everything about the
Bible.
Jesus knew that all sickness came from Satan and boldly declared to the leprous man, “I WILL. Be
thou clean.”
This is the only time anybody in the Bible
prayed, “If it be Thy will” when it came to Divine healing. Jesus
actually corrected the man for praying that way.
Repent if you’ve
done something foolish that opened the door to sickness and God will heal
you, too. (1John 1:9; Hebrews 8:6)
“And, behold, there was a woman which had a spirit of infirmity eighteen years, and was
bowed together, and could in no wise lift up herself. And when Jesus
saw her, he called her to him, and said unto her, Woman, thou art loosed
from thine infirmity. And he laid his
hands on her [transmitting power]: and immediately she was made
straight, and glorified God. And the ruler of the synagogue answered
with indignation ..."
"The Lord then answered him, and said,
Thou hypocrite, doth not each one of you on the sabbath
loose his ox or his ass from the stall, and lead him away to
watering? And ought not this woman, being a daughter of Abraham, whom
Satan hath bound [not God], lo, these eighteen years, be loosed from
this bond on the sabbath day? And when he
had said these things, all his adversaries were ashamed: and all the people
rejoiced for all the glorious things that were done by him.” (Luke
13:11-17)
It is not possible for me to accept the
teaching that sickness comes from God as I follow the Ministry of Jesus
through the Bible.
Some people insist that God makes people sick
because their preacher or their home Church believes it that way. I
don’t care what some misinformed preacher says. I want to know what
the Bible says.
How about you? Are you wise enough to read and
believe the Bible for yourself?
Of course, you are.
The Bible says that God anointed Jesus with
power to force back Satan in people's lives. (Acts 10:38)
The Bible says God is the Blesser and Satan is the damner.
(John 10:10)
The Bible says that Jesus came to do His
Father's will and He always healed people. (John 6:38)
The Bible says that God was the One
performing the healing miracles through Jesus. (John 14:10)
The Bible reveals that Jesus corrected a
sick man for questioning whether He would heal him or not. (Matthew 8:3)
The Bible reveals that Satan binds and
Jesus looses. (Luke 13:6)
By following the Ministry of Jesus in
action, we see the will of God in action.
So, what do you say?
Do you say what
the Bible says or do you say what tradition and religion and the devil
say?
If you believe the Bible and need healing in your body, God will
heal you. Do you belong to His Family?
If not, just say,
"Jesus, You're my choice." (Romans 10:13) You'll be
immediately transferred into the Family of God and qualify for the benefit
of healing. (Colossians 1:12,13)
Pray now, "Father, I see it's Your
will to heal me. I see now that You would never make me sick because
You love me. I ask You to heal me, in Jesus' Name. I know You
will, too, because I believe what the Bible says."
Adam and Eve were never sick one single day
in their lives until they listened to the voice of Satan and disobeyed
God.
It was at that precise moment in human history that the door of
sickness was opened wide to the human race until Jesus came to slam it in
Satan’s face. (Galatians 3:13,14,29)
If you've done something to open the door
to sickness, just be mature enough to admit it.
Ask for forgiveness and God will have mercy on you. (1John
1:9)
He's a good God.
