Orleans & Coming Catastrophes
Don’t Blame the God
of Love for What Humanity Does to Itself

"About
that time some people came up and told him about the Galileans Pilate had
killed while they were at worship, mixing their blood with the blood of the
sacrifices on the altar. Jesus responded, "Do you think those murdered
Galileans were worse sinners than all other Galileans? Not at all. Unless
you turn to God, you too will die. And those eighteen in Jerusalem
the other day, the ones crushed and killed when the Tower
of Siloam
collapsed and fell on them, do you think they were worse citizens than all
other Jerusalemites? Not at all. Unless you turn to God, you too will
die." (Luke 13:1-5 Message Bible)
The day after Christmas
2004 a South Asian Tsunami occurred all around the Indian
Ocean rim. Since that
time the question has been asked repeatedly, "Why would God allow such
tragedy to occur to so many innocent people?"
By
reading our lesson, "Immediate Obedience,"
you will see that we addressed the rampant homosexuality
that prevails in the effected areas. We researched the problem and
discovered that the entire Indian
Ocean rim is populated
with resort areas that cater specifically to the worldwide homosexual
community.
The resort owners are well aware that homosexual
households are usually two-income households with no children and with
money to spend. These resorts clamor, on the Internet in particular,
for American, Canadian, Scandinavian, Asian and European homosexual
wealth.
Muslims,
who forbid homosexuality, condemning it deeply, own many of these
resorts. These individuals will not even access their own resort
properties because they are "defiled" by homosexuality. Yet
they staff them, manage them from a distance and pocket the profits from
them. Talk about disobeying one's own conscience.
It's no small
wonder that a tragedy of such magnitude occurred on their turf.
They opened the door for tragedy themselves. They continued to defy
what the Bible calls "The Law of Sin and Death" setting those
Laws in motion against themselves. (Romans 12:2)
God didn't have
to judge them. The "Law of Sin and Death" and the
"Law of the Spirit of Life" are both operating in the Earth and
we choose which one will work for or against us. (Romans 12:2; Deuteronomy
30:19)

Human
beings have God-given free will. These individuals pushed the
sin envelope to its limits and allowed such tragedy. Because they
allowed it, God had no choice but to allow it. He simply honored
their free will. God did not send Tsunami.
Tsunami was a Satanic
outburst of tremendous magnitude that was allowed by the sins of the
people. Their own sins, not God, judged them and even
many of their innocent neighbors who tolerated their open sin.
"Thine own wickedness shall correct thee, and thy
backslidings shall reprove thee: know therefore and see that it is an evil
thing and bitter, that thou hast forsaken the LORD thy God, and that my
fear is not in thee, saith the Lord GOD of hosts." (Jeremiah
2:19)
It
bears repeating. The Bible is clear, "The wages of
sin is death." (Romans 6:23) God
does not have to judge people for their sin in this Earth. The Laws
of Blessing and Judgment are already in operation in the Earth and humanity
causes those laws to work for or against them. It's really just
that simple.
The
Tsunami devastation affected even those who were not directly involved in
the homosexual resort industry. They witnessed its growing appeal but
did not stand up and say "No" to such blatant perversion, even
according to their own "Holy" writings and conscience. The
Bible says that those who condone such sins are as guilty as those who
commit them. (Romans 1:32)
It
is our personal belief that the events of September 11, 2001, in New York
City, Washington, D.C. and Pennsylvania occurred, in part, as a direct
result of America also defying the "Law of Sin and
Death", through homosexuality in particular.
This also holds
true with Hurricanes Katrina and Rita, which brought tremendous devastation
to the Gulf
Coast
region, particularly New
Orleans, LA.
Sad to say, those hurricanes were Satanic outbursts of tremendous magnitude
which were allowed by the sins of many of the people.
God simply
cannot protect us when we refuse to set our
love upon Him by obeying His Word as a people.
New
Orleans
is one of the most openly immoral cities on the Earth, next to Rio
de Janeiro.
Mardi Gras. Need I say more?
Mardi Gras is a combined celebration of sex and religion that puts
the immoral heathen nations of the Old Testament to shame! Less than six
months after their own sins judged them, Mardi Gras was on once again. It
was one of the first “traditions” some people sought to restore.
Talk about
flying in the face of a Holy, loving God Who is trying to save His creation
from their self-destructive ways.
Such
blatant disregard for our moral God is no longer happening only in one
or two major cities or behind closed doors. It's "in our
faces", on TV, radio, the Internet, publications, on the streets,
in the grocery stores, our homes, our school systems, boardrooms,
government and even in the "Church".
My
wife and I were granted permission to do research in the library of Vermont’s
most esteemed religious college for our website and a children’s book
series we were writing. While there I discovered a voluminous section of
books on the “legitimacy” of homosexuality and lesbianism in the world and
in the “Church.” Many of those books
were written and or endorsed by ordained ministers of that particular
denomination!
Soon
after my discovery, one of the head librarians, a lesbian woman who no
doubt recognized me from local television, went to our website and read our
article on how God views homosexuality.
She literally became enraged. The
head librarian, a homosexual man, had us removed at her insistence, with
threats of prosecution if we set foot on any of the church college properties
again. I received a letter from their Security Department to this effect.
This
from a “Christian” college where Christian parents are sending their
children to be educated and protected from the ways of the world. This is
far more common than most people care to believe. Our lower schools,
universities and libraries have become sinkholes for this particular sin.
Homosexuality and lesbianism are crimes against the Creator and His
creation.
It’s time for repentance, even in the Church. It’s time for true
Biblical Revival. I believe that time is upon us now.
We
will not apologize, as was the case with some national Television
Preachers after 9/11, for saying that America's
refusal to stand up and voice a very aggressive "No" to such
perversion has left us wide open to tragedy and judgment. Our
Television Evangelist Brothers never should have apologized for initially
connecting the events of 9/11 to sin, including homosexuality.
They got it right the first time.
We still love them but our hearts
broke when we heard their retractions.
Now,
to make matters worse, America has elected a President who proudly stands
for unfettered abortion on demand world-wide (at the expense of American tax
payers) and unrestrained homosexuality.
During this President's Inauguration, one popular minister actually offered
a "prayer" to Holy God asking for His blessing on the disobedience
and sinfulness of this present rebellious administration.
When we sow
the wind we reap the whirlwind, no matter how "historic" an
election may appear to be. Our beloved Reverend Martin Luther King's heart
would break if he was alive to witness the lack of character and disregard
for Scripture America's first African American President openly
displays. He would no doubt be angered by the way his "I Have a
Dream" speech was disrespectfully and continually taken out of
context during the 2008 Presidential Campaign.
Reverend King's dream
did not include the execution of little unwanted
family members or same sex "marriages."
A
word also needs to be said here about the way America
has pressured Israel to give
in to the terrorism and the demands of the “Palestinians.” Israel
is not a “State.” Israel
is a Democracy, a sovereign free nation just like America.
No one has the right to insist that they give in to terrorists who want the land that was given only to Israel. Not even America.
God said in the Bible that He would curse anyone who did anything to bring
harm or loss to Israel. As a matter of fact, He said He would
“cut them into small pieces.” (Genesis 12:1-3; Zechariah 12:3) Someone said, “You say God is love. That’s not love.” Oh, yes, it is. It’s God’s love for Israel. It’s also God’s love that warns all
nations beforehand that if they’ll just not tangle with Israel,
they won’t have to tangle with Him.

We
respect our former President George W Bush and his former Secretary of State. However, they
were wrong to insist that Israel
make concessions with terrorists for any reason, ever. This, we believe, is
the primary reason for our President’s Party, the Republican Party, losing
control of the House and the Senate during his administration.
This is why the Republican Party also lost the 2008 Presidential election.
America
does not give in to terrorism and America
should not insist that Israel
give in to terrorism. When we do, we lose footing with God and our
enemies. When we get behind Israel
taking possession of all that God gave to her, He will see to it that
things begin to turn around for America
and Democracy in Iraq. Defending Israel in her war against terrorism is
America's front line of defense in her war against terrorism.
We
love America,
dearly. There's no better Nation in the world in which to live.
America
is the most generous Nation in the world. America
is also the world's Gospel lighthouse. America
sends out ninety percent of the world's missionaries and ninety
percent of the world's missionary dollars.
Again, we love our
Country. We are Patriots and this is God’s country. However, America
needs to repent of sin and we believe she will. When she does, she
will see her finest hour. God is about to move in
America more powerfully than any other time in all of American history.
When He does, we will be ready with our semi-trucks and our Gospel
tents to help bring the message of God's love right into the
communities of the people He loves so deeply!
Whether
you agree or not with what we shared about the 9/11, Tsunami, New
Orleans, Israel,
homosexuality connection, there is something we believe we can all agree
on. The events of 9/11, Southeast
Asia, New
Orleans
and other coming tragic events of equally as great a magnitude, are indeed a further call to repentance.
The
text Scripture we opened with describes similar tragic events
Jesus faced in His day. Pilate had slaughtered a number of innocent
Galileans in the midst of their sacrifice to God and a tower had collapsed
near the pool of Siloam killing a number of innocent bystanders. The
people were horrified at the loss of "innocent" human
lives.
Jesus chose not to address the actual causes for these horrific
calamities. Rather He turned the events into a call to repentance. He turned the crowds' attention to the sinful condition
of their own souls and their own need for repentance by telling them, "Unless you
turn to God, you, too, will die." (Luke
13:5)
Horrific
tragedies such as 9/11, Tsunami, New
Orleans
and other coming 2009 catastrophes are opportunities for each of us to
examine ourselves as well. We must be sure we really have made Jesus Christ the Lord of our existence and are striving
for His perfect will as individuals and as Nations. (Romans 3:23;
12:1,2)
There
is a Storm of God’s Glory in the Earth even as you read this.
Dr.
Oral Roberts spoke of great Judgment and God’s Glory coming to
America, as did Dr. Kenneth E. Hagin & Dr.
Lester Sumrall prior to their traveling on to Heaven.

Earth for such a time as this. Are you ready to play the part that
God has predestined for you in the coming world revival? (Ephesians
1:5,11)
PRAYER:
"Father, I'm through messing with compromise and sin. Please
show me what needs to go from my life and You can consider it
gone. I want to be part of the Glory storm. Help me to prepare
today for the role I'll play tomorrow as Your Spirit now moves across my
country and on to the Nations of the world. I don't want to be on the
outside looking in. I don't want to be part of the Judgment. I
want to be part of the Glory. I want
to be part of the worldwide Revival.
I choose life in You, in Jesus' Name."
"I
call Heaven and Earth to record this day against you,
that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing. Therefore
choose life, that both
thou and thy seed may live." (Deuteronomy
30:19)
Keep
in mind also the Judgment that is coming after this life. The faithful Believer will face a Judgment of Reward. The unbeliever will face a Judgment of Punishment. It doesn’t end here.
Life on earth is simply what I call a probationary
period.
We are all on probation, believe it or not. We are
going to spend Eternity based upon how obedient we were while we were here
on Earth. That's something to really think about!
Be
blessed as God's Spirit now moves in your life and across the Earth.
